East Muskingum Schools will attempt to maintain a normal school schedule whenever possible. When it becomes evident that the safety and well being of students cannot be assured, school may be closed.
As soon as a decision is made to delay or close schools, it will be announced on Cambridge and Zanesville radio stations, and the district web site alert banner. It may also be sent out through the Muskie App and district social media accounts.
Decisions will be made as soon as possible; however, most closings will not occur until early morning. Stay tuned to a local radio station for emergency announcements--they provide a real community service.
