East Muskingum SMS Texting Information and link
The East Muskingum School District uses TEC (The Education Connection) notification service to send important information to families, staff, and community members through SMS text messages.
To comply with wireless carrier requirements and protect against unsolicited text messages, you can OPT-IN at any time by texting TEC to number 64085:
"You have requested to subscribe to The Education Connection texting service. To complete your opt-in, reply YES to this message. (From: www.TEC911.net)"
After receiving the message, reply YES to Opt-in to the service
We also suggest you add the number 64085 to your contact list as "EMSD Texting" or something similar to remember where the text originates from.
Be aware that the Closings and Delays will be coming from only the District list, so be sure to check that box if wanting to be notified.
The lists are broken down by District list, separate school building lists, and a Bus list. You may check the box(s) beside all that apply.

You must do both in either order to participate in the texting service.
The school district does not pay for text message charges that may be incurred by you for sending or receiving text messages. Check with your wireless carrier for possible charges.
